El primero Grand Prix de modern ha sido todo un éxito en todos los sentidos con una participación muy buena para un torneos de este estilo en EEUU y rompiendo todas las barreras y tabúes sobre el miedo que daban las prohibiciones en cuanto a la salud del formato. Esta parte quedó completamente aplastada por un simple dato: En las 10 primerass mesas de la última ronda había presentes 14 arquetipos lo que supone una salud envidiable en cuanto a diversidad de metajuego se refiere.
Al final una Loam se llevó el torneo con un top8 en el que sólo destacaba LSV como destacado pro mediático y que por cierto eligió tron para enfrentarse a tan variado formato. Algo que no deberías ser noticia pero que inevitablemente lo tiene que ser es contar con la presencia de una mujer en el top pilotando una affinity. También decir que la tendencia de la subida de media de edad en los top de este tipo de torneos sigue su tendencia de subida.
